Meet The Chef
Welcome to Shakespear Rose Culilnary Kitchen LLC Catering
Chef Bernita Outlaw is the owner, and Executive Chef of Shakespear Rose Culinary Kitchen LLC, located on Chicago’s South Side in Woodlawn. She grew up on Chicago’s West Side, a Dunbar Alumni, and in 2017 she received her B.S. in Culinary Management. She's also the recipient of the NEIGHBORHOOD OPPORTUNITY GRANT.

Our Story
We started Shakespear Rose Culilnary Kitchen LLC with the mission to provide high-quality catering services to clients in the local area. With years of experience in the industry, as well as the retail industry we bring a unique approach to every event, ensuring that each one is truly unforgettable.
We are the recipient of the 2019 Neighborhood Opportunity Fund Grant, sponsored by the Mayor's office. We originally started the project to become a southside cooking class establishment. It is my hope to fulfilling that dream. We believe in giving back to our community and the children within it. We want to help future chefs get on the path to success by starting a shared kitchen. We know how hard it is to get quality food and service in the industry. That's why we work diligently to service this community.
